Adjustable Ball Lock Pins from Carr Lane offer an adjustable grip length, making them versatile for clamping applications. The threaded handle can be turned to achieve a clamping range or adjustment range of approximately +/- 1/4 inch. When used solely for adjusting grip length (and not for clamping), the handle can be secured in place using the provided knurled locknut. These Ball Lock Pins are engineered for robustness and swift release, featuring a precision ground shank. They securely lock in place until the release button is pressed, causing the central spindle to advance and retract the locking balls. In clamping applications, Adjustable Ball Lock Pins come with four balls as standard, as opposed to the usual two, ensuring a more evenly distributed ball-pullout force. There are three handle styles to choose from: Knob (K), T, and L. This design is protected under Patent no. 3,101,641 and proudly made in the USA. These pins are available in various diameters, ranging from 1/4 to 1 inch (6 to 20mm in metric), exclusively in stainless steel.
